Sintesi
Thalidomide is an immunomodulator, and concurrent use with PD-1 antibodies in multiple myeloma has been linked to excess mortality in trials of pembrolizumab combinations. Nivolumab is expected to share this class risk, though direct evidence is limited. Outside a clinical trial the combination offers no proven benefit.
