Diazoxide is a potent hyperglycemic agent and directly opposes the effects of antidiabetic drugs. Loss of glycemic control can be marked.

なぜ起こるのか
Diazoxide opens pancreatic beta-cell potassium ATP channels, suppressing insulin secretion, which directly antagonizes sulfonylureas and raises glucose.

Avoid the combination where possible. If both are needed, monitor glucose frequently and adjust doses, and consider that the sulfonylurea will have little effect.
