概要
Eslicarbazepine can lower rilpivirine concentrations via CYP3A4 induction. This may cause loss of virologic suppression and NNRTI resistance.

Eslicarbazepine and Rilpivirine are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
Eslicarbazepine belongs to Central Nervous System; Rilpivirine belongs to Anti Virals.

Eslicarbazepine induces CYP3A4, increasing the metabolism of rilpivirine.
