摘要

Methylergonovine is a potent vasoconstrictor, and naratriptan adds further vasoconstriction. Prolonged vasospasm and ischemia may follow.

Methylergonovine and Naratriptan are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Additive vasoconstriction via 5-HT1B/1D agonism and ergot adrenergic and serotonergic effects.

處置方式

Do not give together; separate by at least 24 hours. Use a non-ergot uterotonic if bleeding control is needed.

Can I take Methylergonovine with Naratriptan?

MediHelp rates the interaction as contraindicated. Methylergonovine and Naratriptan are not normally used together.
