摘要

Combining neprilysin inhibition with an ACE inhibitor greatly increases bradykinin-mediated angioedema risk, which can involve the airway. The combination is contraindicated.

Moexipril and Sacubitril-valsartan are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Both neprilysin and ACE degrade bradykinin; inhibiting both increases bradykinin levels.
