Mécanisme d'action
Somatrogon-ghla binds the GH receptor and activates the STAT5b signaling pathway, raising serum IGF-1. GH and IGF-1 stimulate metabolic changes, linear growth and growth velocity in pediatric patients with GHD.

Contre-indications
- Acute critical illness after open heart surgery, abdominal surgery or multiple accidental trauma, or acute respiratory failure
- Hypersensitivity to somatrogon-ghla or any excipients
- Closed epiphyses
Précautions particulières
- Severe hypersensitivity reactions including anaphylaxis and angioedema may occur; seek prompt medical attention.
- Increased risk of neoplasms; monitor patients with preexisting tumors and childhood cancer survivors; discontinue if malignancy recurs.
- May decrease insulin sensitivity; monitor glucose periodically; antidiabetic doses may need adjustment.
