Résumé

Both drugs injure the proximal renal tubule, so combined use can cause severe acute kidney injury. Cidofovir labeling contraindicates concurrent use with other nephrotoxic agents including aminoglycosides.

Cidofovir and Gentamicin are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
