Per cosa si usa
Come agisce
Recombinant human IgG4 monoclonal antibody that binds PD-1 and blocks its interaction with PD-L1 and PD-L2, releasing PD-1 pathway-mediated inhibition of the immune response, including the anti-tumor immune response.
Dose abituale nell'adulto (sintesi del foglio illustrativo)
Metastatic or locally advanced CSCC: 350 mg IV infusion over 30 minutes every 3 weeks until disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, or up to 24 months
Gravidanza e allattamento
- Gravidanza
- Unsafe Can cause fetal harm: PD-1 blockade can disrupt immune tolerance to the fetus and raise the risk of pregnancy loss; IgG4 crosses the placenta. Check pregnancy status; use effective contraception during treatment and for at least 4 months after the last dose.
- Allattamento
- Unsafe No data on milk levels. Do not breastfeed during treatment and for at least 4 months after the last dose.

Chi deve prestare attenzione
- Severe and fatal immune-mediated adverse reactions (pneumonitis, colitis, hepatitis, endocrinopathies, dermatologic reactions, nephritis, transplant rejection) can occur in any organ; evaluate liver enzymes, creatinine and thyroid function at baseline and periodically.
- Infusion-related reactions: interrupt, slow infusion, or permanently discontinue based on severity.
- Fatal and other serious complications can occur in patients receiving allogeneic HSCT before or after PD-1/PD-L1 blocking antibody.
