Per cosa si usa
Come agisce
Cosibelimab-ipdl binds PD-L1 and blocks its interaction with PD-1 and B7.1 receptors, releasing the inhibitory effect of PD-L1 on the anti-tumor immune response. It also induces antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) in vitro.
Dose abituale nell'adulto (sintesi del foglio illustrativo)
Metastatic or locally advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma not amenable to curative surgery or radiation: 1,200 mg IV infusion over 60 minutes every 3 weeks until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity
Gravidanza e allattamento
- Gravidanza
- Unsafe Can cause fetal harm: PD-L1 blockade can disrupt immune tolerance to the fetus, and the antibody can cross the placenta. Check pregnancy status; use effective contraception during treatment and for 4 months after the last dose.
- Allattamento
- Unsafe No data on milk levels. Because of possible serious reactions in the infant, do not breastfeed during treatment and for 4 months after the last dose.
Effetti indesiderati segnalati
- Fatigue
- Musculoskeletal pain
- Rash
- Diarrhea
- Hypothyroidism
- Constipation
Controindicazioni
- None.
Chi deve prestare attenzione
- Severe and fatal immune-mediated adverse reactions (pneumonitis, colitis, hepatitis, endocrinopathies, dermatologic reactions, nephritis, transplant rejection) can occur in any organ; monitor liver enzymes, creatinine and thyroid function at baseline and periodically.
- Infusion-related reactions: interrupt, slow the infusion, or permanently discontinue based on severity.
- Fatal and other serious complications can occur with allogeneic HSCT before or after PD-1/PD-L1 blocking antibody.
