Come agisce
Humanised IgG4 variant monoclonal antibody against PD-1 that binds the extracellular domain of human PD-1 and competitively blocks binding of PD-L1 and PD-L2. This inhibits PD-1-mediated negative signalling and enhances T-cell functional activity in in vitro assays.
Dose abituale nell'adulto (sintesi del foglio illustrativo)
Monotherapy: 200 mg once every 3 weeks or 400 mg once every 6 weeks, intravenous infusion; treat until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity

- Unsafe No data in pregnant women; can cause foetal harm based on its mechanism of action. Do not use during pregnancy unless the woman's clinical condition requires treatment.

- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any excipient.

- Immune-related adverse reactions, including fatal cases, can affect any organ system and may occur after the last dose; evaluate and withhold, with corticosteroids as needed.
- Immune-related pneumonitis, including fatal cases; monitor for signs and symptoms.
- Immune-related hepatitis; perform liver function tests at baseline and periodically.
