Sintesi
Phenelzine inhibits catecholamine breakdown and enlarges neuronal norepinephrine stores, and dextroamphetamine releases norepinephrine and dopamine from nerve terminals. The result can be a hypertensive crisis with severe headache, arrhythmia, hyperpyrexia and intracranial haemorrhage.
