Sintesi
Eletriptan and dihydroergotamine both constrict blood vessels, and together they may produce prolonged vasospasm. Cardiac and cerebral ischemia are the concern.

Dihydroergotamine and Eletriptan are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Additive vasoconstriction via 5-HT1B/1D agonism and ergot vascular receptor effects; dihydroergotamine is also a CYP3A4 substrate.
