概要
Apalutamide substantially lowers concentrations of both elbasvir and grazoprevir. This can lead to hepatitis C treatment failure and resistance.

Apalutamide and Elbasvir / grazoprevir are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
なぜ起こるのか
Apalutamide induces CYP3A4 (and P-gp), increasing clearance of both antiviral components.
対処法
Do not coadminister, as strong CYP3A inducers are contraindicated with this regimen. Use a different antiandrogen or defer HCV therapy until apalutamide is stopped and induction has resolved.
