概要
Apalutamide lowers the exposure to isavuconazole, the active moiety of isavuconazonium, which may cause failure of antifungal treatment in serious invasive infections.

Apalutamide and Isavuconazonium are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Apalutamide is a strong CYP3A4 inducer that increases the metabolism of isavuconazole, a CYP3A4 substrate.
