概要
Combining insulin with a sulfonylurea gives additive glucose lowering and raises the risk of hypoglycemia. Chlorpropamide has a long half-life, so hypoglycemia can be prolonged, especially in older adults and in renal impairment.
この相互作用をわかりやすく説明すると
Chlorpropamide and Insulin degludec-insulin aspart can interact in a way that may be serious. Using them together is sometimes necessary, but it needs a deliberate decision by the prescriber, a plan for monitoring, and clear advice on the warning signs to watch for.

なぜ起こるのか
Additive effect: chlorpropamide stimulates insulin secretion while exogenous insulin directly lowers glucose.
対処法
