Resumo
Azacitidine causes myelosuppression and fingolimod lowers circulating lymphocytes by sequestering them in lymphoid tissue. Together they may increase the risk of serious infection.
O que esta interação significa em palavras simples
Azacitidine and Fingolimod can interact in a way that may be serious. Using them together is sometimes necessary, but it needs a deliberate decision by the prescriber, a plan for monitoring, and clear advice on the warning signs to watch for.
Azacitidine belongs to Oncology; Fingolimod belongs to Central Nervous System.
Por que acontece
