Resumo
Combining an SSRI with a monoamine oxidase B inhibitor can cause serotonin syndrome, with severe hyperthermia, rigidity and autonomic instability reported with antidepressants and rasagiline. Fluoxetine's very long-acting metabolite prolongs the risk after it is stopped.
