Bosutinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that inhibits BCR-ABL kinase, which promotes CML, and also inhibits Src-family kinases including Src, Lyn, and Hck.

Newly-diagnosed chronic phase Ph+ CML: 400 mg orally once daily with food

- Unsafe Can cause fetal harm; animal studies showed malformations and fetal death. No human data. Use highly effective contraception during treatment and for 2 weeks after the last dose.

- Unsafe No human milk data; it passes into rat milk. Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment and for 2 weeks after the last dose.
