用途

作用方式

Umeclidinium bromide: Long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA), often referred to as an anticholinergic; blocks action of acetylcholine at muscarinic receptors (M1 to M5) in the bronchial airways (M3). Vilanterol: Long-acting selective beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA), causing bronchial smooth muscle relaxation.

Unknown Inhaled LAMA plus LABA for COPD (Anoro). Insufficient human data; no malformations in rats or rabbits at 50 to 200 times human exposure. Beta-agonists may slow labour; US label: in late pregnancy use only if benefit justifies risk. Use only if needed.

Safe No human milk data for either drug. Both give low blood levels after inhalation. US label: weigh benefits. LactMed: breastfeeding can continue with umeclidinium, and combination products such as Anoro Ellipta are acceptable.

  • Severe hypersensitivity to milk proteins
  • Demonstrated hypersensitivity to umeclidinium, vilanterol, or excipients
  • Use without an inhaled corticosteroid in the treatment of asthma

  • Beta2-agonists can produce clinically significant cardiovascular effects including increased pulse rate or increased systolic or diastolic blood pressure.
  • Do not exceed recommended dose (ie, 1 actuation once daily) or coadminister with other medicines containing a LABA; may result in overdose.
  • Beta2-agonists should be used with caution with convulsive disorders, thyrotoxicosis, narrow-angle glaucoma, conditions causing urinary retention.
