摘要
Linezolid is a reversible nonselective MAO inhibitor, and bupropion is contraindicated with MAO inhibitors because of the risk of hypertensive reactions and neurotoxicity. Serotonergic or noradrenergic excess can occur.

Bupropion-naltrexone and Linezolid are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

MAO inhibition by linezolid combined with bupropion's dopaminergic and noradrenergic reuptake inhibition causes catecholamine excess and possible serotonergic toxicity.

Do not co-administer; use an alternative antibiotic. If linezolid is urgent, stop bupropion-naltrexone and monitor closely, and avoid restarting it until at least 24 hours after the last linezolid dose.
