摘要
Live zoster vaccine relies on replication of the attenuated varicella zoster virus to produce an immune response. Antivirals active against this virus can suppress replication and may reduce vaccine effectiveness.

Famciclovir's active metabolite penciclovir inhibits viral DNA polymerase and may suppress replication of the live attenuated vaccine virus.
處置方式
Stop famciclovir at least 24 hours before vaccination and avoid restarting it for 14 days afterward if clinically possible. If antiviral therapy is essential, delay the vaccine or consider the non-live recombinant zoster vaccine.
