Mechanism of action
Clopidogrel acyl-β-glucuronide inhibits BCRP (ABCG2) ± OATP1B1 → ↑ rosuvastatin concentrations.
Clinical management
Use the lowest effective rosuvastatin dose; counsel on myopathy symptoms; check CK and renal function if symptomatic; consider dose reduction or alternative statin if risk factors present.
