Summary
Leniolisib inhibits OATP1B1 and OATP1B3 and may increase exposure to substrates of these transporters. Enalaprilat, the active metabolite of enalapril, is not a clinically important OATP substrate, so a significant effect is unlikely.
What this interaction means in plain words
Enalapril-hydrochlorothiazide and Leniolisib have a small, usually unimportant interaction. Most people can take both; the pharmacist may still mention it so that any unexpected effect is recognised.
Enalapril-hydrochlorothiazide belongs to Cardiovascular; Leniolisib belongs to Miscellaneous.
Why it happens
Inhibition of hepatic OATP1B1/1B3 uptake transporters may modestly raise exposure to substrates.
What to do
No dose adjustment is expected; monitor blood pressure after leniolisib is started.
