What this interaction means in plain words

Flurbiprofen and Levomilnacipran can affect each other. The combination is often manageable, but it may need a change of dose, a change of timing, or extra checks while both are taken.

Flurbiprofen belongs to Musculoskeletal; Levomilnacipran belongs to Central Nervous System.

Evidence level: Moderate

Why it happens

Additive impairment of platelet function (serotonin depletion plus COX inhibition) with NSAID mucosal damage.

What to do

Monitor for gastrointestinal bleeding and consider gastroprotection with a proton pump inhibitor in high-risk patients. Prefer non-NSAID analgesia when possible.
