Résumé

Cyclosporine inhibits hepatic uptake and CYP3A4 metabolism of bosentan, raising bosentan concentrations several-fold, while bosentan in turn lowers cyclosporine levels. Hepatotoxicity risk rises and immunosuppression may be lost.

Bosentan and Cyclosporin are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
