Résumé

Mifepristone antagonizes glucocorticoid receptors and can reduce the effect of corticosteroids. In patients on long-term steroid treatment this may cause adrenal insufficiency or loss of disease control, and labeling lists chronic corticosteroid therapy as a contraindication.

Mifepristone and Prednisolone are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
