Résumé
Rasagiline is a selective MAO-B inhibitor that, at higher doses, loses selectivity, and combined use with serotonergic antidepressants has been linked to serotonin syndrome. Venlafaxine labeling warns against its use with MAO inhibitors, and severe hyperthermia and CNS toxicity can occur.

Rasagiline and Venlafaxine are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
