Per cosa si usa
Come agisce
Direct P2Y12 platelet receptor inhibitor that blocks ADP-induced platelet activation and aggregation; binds selectively and reversibly to the P2Y12 receptor.
Dose abituale nell'adulto (sintesi del foglio illustrativo)
Adjunct to PCI: 30 mcg/kg IV bolus before PCI, followed immediately by 4 mcg/kg/min IV infusion for at least 2 hours or the duration of PCI, whichever is longer.
Gravidanza e allattamento
- Gravidanza
- Unknown No human data. Animal studies showed no malformations, but fetal growth retardation and increased abortion/intrauterine losses occurred at higher doses. May increase maternal bleeding during labor and delivery.
- Allattamento
- Unknown No data on presence in milk; exposure in the breastfed infant is expected to be very low due to short half-life.
Effetti indesiderati segnalati
- Bleeding
- Dyspnea
- Hypersensitivity reactions (anaphylaxis, bronchospasm, angioedema, stridor)
- Worsening renal function in severe renal impairment
Controindicazioni
- Significant active bleeding.
- Known hypersensitivity (e.g., anaphylaxis) to cangrelor or any component of the product.
Chi deve prestare attenzione
- Bleeding risk: P2Y12 inhibitors including cangrelor increase bleeding risk; bleeding events of all severities were more common than with clopidogrel. No antiplatelet effect after an hour once discontinued.
- Neuraxial blockade is not advised during use because of potential spinal hematoma risk; discontinue 1 hour before labor, delivery, or neuraxial blockade when possible.
Informare il farmacista o il medico di gravidanza o allattamento, malattie renali o epatiche, allergie e di ogni altro farmaco o integratore assunto.
