概要
Rifampicin substantially lowers lenacapavir concentrations. Subtherapeutic levels may cause loss of virologic suppression and selection of resistance.

Lenacapavir and Rifampicin are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
Lenacapavir belongs to Anti Virals; Rifampicin belongs to Anti Bacterial.
なぜ起こるのか
Rifampicin is a strong inducer of CYP3A and P-gp, increasing lenacapavir clearance.

Do not coadminister. Use an alternative antimycobacterial such as rifabutin only after checking current labeling, or select another HIV regimen.
