Resumo
Itraconazole is a strong CYP3A4 and P-glycoprotein inhibitor and may raise doxorubicin exposure, increasing myelosuppression, mucositis and cardiotoxicity. It also has negative inotropic effects relevant in anthracycline-treated patients.
