摘要

Safinamide is a reversible MAO-B inhibitor and imipramine blocks serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake. The combination can cause life-threatening serotonin syndrome.

Imipramine and Safinamide are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Can I take Imipramine with Safinamide?
