摘要
Both drugs increase cyclic GMP signalling in vascular smooth muscle, and together they can cause profound, sometimes refractory hypotension and syncope. Riociguat labeling contraindicates its use with nitrates in any form.

Isosorbide dinitrate and Riociguat are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Nitrates release nitric oxide while riociguat stimulates soluble guanylate cyclase, producing additive cGMP-mediated vasodilation.
