Summary
Belzutifan can induce CYP3A4, which may lower chloroquine exposure. Chloroquine is only partly metabolised by CYP3A4, so the effect on antimalarial or antirheumatic efficacy is probably small and has not been well characterised.
What this interaction means in plain words
Belzutifan and Chloroquine have a small, usually unimportant interaction. Most people can take both; the pharmacist may still mention it so that any unexpected effect is recognised.
Belzutifan belongs to Miscellaneous; Chloroquine belongs to Anti Parasitic.
Why it happens
Belzutifan induces CYP3A4 and may increase the metabolic clearance of chloroquine.
