Summary
Pomalidomide is partly metabolized by CYP3A4, but also by CYP1A2 and other routes. A CYP3A4 inducer is unlikely to change its exposure much, though both drugs are teratogenic and require strict pregnancy-prevention programs.
What this interaction means in plain words
Bosentan and Pomalidomide have a small, usually unimportant interaction. Most people can take both; the pharmacist may still mention it so that any unexpected effect is recognised.
Bosentan belongs to Miscellaneous; Pomalidomide belongs to Miscellaneous.
Why it happens
Bosentan may modestly increase CYP3A4-mediated pomalidomide metabolism, which is a minor clearance pathway.
What to do
No dose change is generally needed. Ensure both pregnancy-prevention programs are followed and monitor response.
