What this interaction means in plain words
Candesartan-hydrochlorothiazide and Corticotropin can affect each other. The combination is often manageable, but it may need a change of dose, a change of timing, or extra checks while both are taken.
Candesartan-hydrochlorothiazide belongs to Cardiovascular; Corticotropin belongs to Endocrine.
Why it happens
Corticotropin-induced mineralocorticoid and glucocorticoid excess adds to thiazide renal potassium wasting.
What to do
Monitor serum potassium and blood pressure during corticotropin courses, and supplement potassium if needed.
