Summary

Icatibant blocks the bradykinin B2 receptor, and part of the ACE inhibitor blood pressure effect depends on bradykinin. It could attenuate captopril's effect, although this is mostly theoretical. ACE inhibitors are also a recognized cause of bradykinin-mediated angioedema, for which icatibant is sometimes used.

What this interaction means in plain words

Captopril and Icatibant have a small, usually unimportant interaction. Most people can take both; the pharmacist may still mention it so that any unexpected effect is recognised.
