Summary

Phenobarbital and prochlorperazine both depress the CNS, so sedation, hypotension and impaired psychomotor function may be increased. Phenobarbital also induces hepatic enzymes and may lower phenothiazine levels. Phenothiazines can lower the seizure threshold, which may matter in epilepsy.

What this interaction means in plain words

Phenobarbital and Prochlorperazine can affect each other. The combination is often manageable, but it may need a change of dose, a change of timing, or extra checks while both are taken.
