Resumo
Prolonged rabeprazole therapy can cause hypomagnesemia, which together with low potassium raises the risk of QT prolongation and ventricular arrhythmia with domperidone. The effect is uncommon, typically follows months of PPI use, and matters most in older patients, those on diuretics or digoxin, and those with heart disease or other QT-prolonging drugs.
