摘要
Intravenous erythromycin markedly raises ergotamine exposure, and this has led to acute ergotism with severe vasospasm and ischemia. Ergotamine labeling contraindicates its use with macrolide antibiotics.

Ergotamine and Erythromycin lactobionate are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Erythromycin inhibits CYP3A4-mediated metabolism of ergotamine, increasing its systemic concentrations.
處置方式
