摘要
Combining an irreversible MAO inhibitor with meperidine can cause severe, potentially fatal reactions, including serotonin syndrome with hyperthermia, rigidity, agitation and coma, and in some cases severe hypertension or respiratory depression. The combination is contraindicated in labeling.
