摘要
Primidone, partly metabolized to phenobarbital, induces enzymes and can lower voriconazole to subtherapeutic levels, risking failure of antifungal therapy.

Primidone and Voriconazole are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
Primidone belongs to Central Nervous System; Voriconazole belongs to Anti Fungals.

Induction of CYP2C19, CYP2C9 and CYP3A4 by primidone and its phenobarbital metabolite increases voriconazole clearance.
