Methamphetamine is a stimulant and may partly offset the sedation caused by nalbuphine, but this does not reduce the opioid's respiratory depression. The stimulant effect may mask the degree of opioid impairment, and the net effect on the patient is unpredictable. Cardiovascular stimulation from methamphetamine may also persist.
