Summary

Tisagenlecleucel is a CAR T-cell therapy given after lymphodepleting chemotherapy and causes prolonged immune compromise. Why it happens

Additive immunosuppression; IL-17A blockade could theoretically affect CAR T-cell activity, but the mechanism is not established.

What to do

Hold secukinumab around lymphodepletion and CAR T infusion unless clearly needed, and resume only when the oncology team judges it safe. Monitor for infections.
