Résumé

Mifepristone is a glucocorticoid receptor antagonist, so it can block the effect of dexamethasone and precipitate adrenal insufficiency in patients who depend on corticosteroid therapy. Reduced corticosteroid effect may also worsen the underlying condition being treated.

Dexamethasone and Mifepristone are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
