摘要
The oral adenovirus type 4 and 7 vaccine contains live virus. Under TNF blockade with certolizumab, replication may be poorly controlled, risking vaccine-related infection and a reduced immune response.

Adenovirus types 4 and 7 live and Certolizumab pegol are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

TNF inhibition impairs immune control of live attenuated virus, raising infection risk and reducing vaccine response.
處置方式
Avoid this live vaccine during certolizumab therapy. Vaccinate before starting treatment if indicated, allowing at least 4 weeks.
