摘要

Lopinavir is co-formulated with ritonavir, a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor, which raises dronedarone levels. Lopinavir/ritonavir also prolongs QT and PR intervals, adding to arrhythmia risk.

Dronedarone and Lopinavir are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
