摘要

Ergotamine and rizatriptan are both vasoconstrictors (ergot alkaloid and 5-HT1B/1D agonist). Together they can cause prolonged vasospasm, with coronary and peripheral ischaemia.

Ergotamine and Rizatriptan are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Can I take Ergotamine with Rizatriptan?
