摘要
Ibutilide is a potent QT-prolonging class III antiarrhythmic with a high torsades risk. Gemifloxacin adds to the effect and may increase the chance of life-threatening arrhythmia.

Gemifloxacin and Ibutilide are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
