Tepotinib inhibits P-glycoprotein and raises exposure to P-gp substrates such as dabigatran. MMAE from brentuximab vedotin is a P-gp substrate, so higher exposure may increase neutropenia and neuropathy.
What this interaction means in plain words
Brentuximab and Tepotinib can affect each other. The combination is often manageable, but it may need a change of dose, a change of timing, or extra checks while both are taken.
Brentuximab belongs to Oncology; Tepotinib belongs to Oncology.
Why it happens
P-gp inhibition by tepotinib may raise MMAE exposure.
What to do
Monitor blood counts and neuropathy. Reduce or hold brentuximab vedotin if toxicity develops.
