Summary
Stiripentol inhibits several CYP enzymes, including CYP1A2 and CYP2C19, which participate in fluvoxamine clearance, while fluvoxamine strongly inhibits CYP1A2 and CYP2C19 itself. Levels of both drugs and of co-administered substrates such as clobazam may change. This can lead to increased sedation or other adverse effects.
